TVS Moves into Kenyan Market

TVS Company affirmed to move into Kenyan market with two new motorcycles. The company has designed the vehicles precisely keeping in mind Kenya’s customers needs with specific nuts and bolts like usability, accuracy and durability. The company has formally commissioned an assembly line at Nakuru. As expressed by Mr. K N Radhakrishnan, President and CEO, TVS Motor Company, the product line established at Nakuru will facilitate to boost the products that will be suitable for this region. The company also has a plan to launch two more motorcycles in the near time.

Presently, TVS Motor Company is merged with Car & General, Nairobi. It is a public limited enterprise which has a strong foothold and broad presence in East Africa and is well-known for distribution of extensive series of two wheelers. It is also associated with Abson Motors, Mombasa which is famed for its array of three wheelers. TVS Company has marked its place in Kenya with more than 75 dealers, 300 service points and approx 2500 trained mechanics. Presently, it holds a share of 27% in Kenyan market with a proper product line and also plans to increase the market share to 40% with the debut of new and innovative products.
