Celebrating “Wake up drink” birthday

The capital and largest city of Angola, Luanda celebrated International Coffee Day on Monday, 14 April paying a tribute to it. Coffee recognized as one of the most consumed products was invented in Kaffa, Abyssinia, and now Ethiopia, when a shepherd named Kaldi noticed that his goats were becoming smarter and were hopping after consuming the leaves and fruit of the coffee. He tried the fruits and felt more joyful.

A monk of the region informed a propos the fact, and initiated to use the infusion of fruits to resist sleep while praying. The man took the grain to the nearest monastery and the monks considered the plant "Thing of Demon" then Kaldi decided to burn bush down. The fragrance emitted by the fruits roasted in the flames drew all the monks to discover what was causing that delightful scent, and the beans were removed from the ashes. Read More....
