It’s time for a full house Reunion

May, the month of autumn has a lot more in store this season. The Réunion Island is inviting every person who loves to travel, loves nature and vivaciousness. Réunion Island’s Cimendef Association is all groomed to organize a weekend event solely dedicated to Réunion Island. The two days event scheduled to be held from May 03, 2014 will bring alive the essence of Rognac (Bouches du Rhone, France) to the beats of the Ile de la Reunion and its traditions.

The event sponsored by artist Danyel Waro is named, “Cape on the island of Réunion.” Also, the event is said to kick off in the first weekend of May and will enable its visitors to be familiar with the traditions, culture and cuisines of Réunion Island amalgamated with its unique blend of French tradition interwoven with the Creole culture of the island will be highlighted. Also, the event will feature Moringue demonstrations, parades showing off folk outfits, initiations Maloya, and musical performances together with workshops manufacturing traditional musical instruments. Crafts stalls and numerous other exhibitions highlighting the history of island will also be there along with cuisines heavily influenced by the produce of the island with flavors consisting of pickled vegetables, samosas, and curry chicken with tomato will truly leave the visitors spell bounded.
