Heads of State of ECOWAS want to confront terrorism in the sub -region

The leaders of ECOWAS countries have decided to invoke the protocols of the Community against the terrorism to deal with attacks against Nigeria, after the removal of more than 223 girls at a boarding school in the north -east the country, announced Ghanaian President John Mahama.

On Thursday at a meeting with his Nigerian counterpart Goodluck Jonathan, during the World Economic Forum on Africa held in Abuja, Mahama said a meeting of the heads of the intelligence services of the member countries of ECOWAS will take place next week in Accra to discuss the issue of security in the subregion. Read More....
