Another Deadline for Nigeria!!

The Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) has failed to realize its goal of producing 5,000 MW energy for the year 2014. According to figures, NESI was still short of 1,584.79 MW.

Nigerian government has failed to meet the set limit for electricity production, although the government claims that it can still produce the set amount of energy, “Some people are asking about the completion of NIPP. I have mentioned about Alaoji, Gabrian and Omoku. I don’t think they will spill beyond January for achieving 5,000Mw because the gas is already available,” Minister of Power, Prof Chinedu Nebo exclaimed.
