This weekend in Bagamoyo

This weekend in BagamoyoDAR ES SALAAM, 6th November 2015- Approximately 24,000 people are expected to spend their weekend in Bagamoyo from 6th -8th November 2015, where the Karibu Music Festival will be held to promote African culture and strengthen the bond between other international cultures.  

Aziza Ongala, General Manager of Legendary Music explained that the vision of Karibu Music Festival is to create a unique festival in East Africa, but also to create the long term development of the economy and community growth in Bagamoyo.   Andrea Guzzoni, Country Manager of Jovago Tanzania, added that, “Bagamoyo is of one the historical cities which is also one of the heritage sites in Tanzania that contribute to the national income”.

He adds that, “Regardless of its history and national parks,  there is little awareness about the tourism attractions found in Bagamoyo, hence this event will bring more opportunity for local people and foreigners to know more about the city.”   But also, JovagoTanzania in partnership with Karibu Music Festival provides more opportunities for the discounted hotels available to guests who plan to spend the weekend in Bagamoyo by participating in different culture workshops from different artists worldwide. Read More...
