Norton Rose Fulbright sponsors inaugural Africa Energy Indaba Gas Forum 17th January 2016Africa's gas market is set grow significantly over the next two decades. There is great excitement around the large gas finds in Mozambique, Kenya and Tanzania, which has sparked a gas boom on the east coast. The emergence of shale gas in South Africa’s Karoo and the commissioning of the Strategic Environmental Assessment of shale gas by the South African government have also drawn investor attention.

These discoveries mean potential gas exports which relate into economic development and income for countries, and the development of local industries as well as regional cooperation in producing a clean energy source.

Law firm Norton Rose Fulbright are sponsoring the inaugural Africa Energy Indaba Gas Forum, taking place on Monday, 15th February 2016 at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
