The Intensified Effort for Project Partnership
The 11th edition of the CII-EXIM Conclave on ‘India-Africa Project Partnership’ was held at the grand Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi on March 14 -15th, 2016. This cyclopean event like its precursor events too become the confluence zone of high profile Indian and African delegates. The esteemed representatives from two sides were from Business community, Ministers, and High dignitaries from WTO. The astute and ingenious discussion about the fresh augmentation of the Projects Partnership between India and Africa were winded up only after 15 marathon sessions lasting two days of the event. The delegates of both sides took souvenirs of big opportunities for their respective Business Community and people.

The welcome remark was made by Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General of CII. He delivered his warmth and good wishes to the delegates who come to attend this yearly mega event. It was followed by addressing of the delegates by Noel N Tata, the Chairman of CII-Africa Committee, Mr. Yaduvendra Mathur, Chairman and Managing Director of Export-Import Bank of India, Mr. Sumit  Mazumdar, President of CII and Mr. Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Finance, Government of India.

The ten annual conclaves held in New Delhi in the period 2005-14 have facilitated the enhancement of Indian project exports toAfrican markets apart from strengthening Brand India amongst theAfrican decision makers and business leaders. Astatistical review of the annual conclaves tell the story.
